Village Defibrilator

The Parish Council acquired the unused telephone box in the Borough from BT for £1 under their 'Adopt a Kiosk' scheme and had a much needed defibrillator installed.  The village's Carnival Club kindly gave a generous donation towards the defibrillator and a resident who lives nearby has kindly offered to be the guardian.

A training session was held on Saturday 27th July 2019 by Heartstart Somerset so we now have 16 members of the community fully trained to operate the defibrillator and give CPR.   After the success of this training session we will hopefully holding another session in either October or November for those residents who were unable to attend the first session.
